...since my last journal entry! This month I have been travelling to areas of special natural beauty and getting some quite fun photos. So far I have been up Totternhoe Knolls and to a boggy wood in Flitwick (twice) nearly losing my shoe in the process! I plan to get to lots more places this Summer while the nights are long (and hopefully warm).

I wanted a print of the shot of the little dog as a gift for the owner last week, so having no capable printer (at least for printing at A3 size) I sent my order to PhotoBox www.photobox.co.uk . I was so pleased with the results; amazing quality and so much easier than messing with silly expensive inks and papers. It's shameful to say that this is the first actual quality print I have had in my hands in almost two years of owning a DSLR! It's so great to have something tangible at last. OK! I admit it. I'm a coward. Taking candid photos of people is scary. I'm always waiting for them to notice me and come striding over demanding my memory card. That's what makes this photo so good (it's not mine btw!). To find someone looking so natural, comfortable and in such interesting surroundings makes it a gem... :thumb83318007:
